He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Podles, Sr. and Laura Podles; his siblings, Joseph Podles, Jr., Delores Lowe, Connie Zeller, Barbara Henniger, Albert Podles and Jacob Podles; and his sister-in-law Kathy Gregory.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Podles; his children, Kim Marzullo (Mike), Karen Ball (Ron) and Kelly Wenner (Dave); his grandchildren, Justine, Tony, Jessica, Kristin, James, Dan, Ryan, Jordan and Teddy; his great grandchildren, Sienna, Jonny, Phoenix and Zoe; and his brother-in-law Bob Hunt (Carolyn). He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air (610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Ed's name to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
