He was predeceased by: his parents, Eric Frederick Matthews and Aileen Matthews (Jewell). He is survived by: his daughters, Angie Wilkinson and Kristen Matthews; his son-in-law Nick Wilkinson; his granddaughter Stephanie; his sister Elaine Macko; and also Lawrence Geipe.
