With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen B. Morena of Bel Air, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 31, 2025 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen B. Morena to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Jacob Gouge and Eva Jane Gouge (McKinney); her husband Pat Robert Morena; and her siblings, Malone Gouge, Pearl LaQuey, Joyce Bostic, Jean Schaeffer, Edna Pierson, James "Jim" Gouge, Ernest Gouge and Paul Gouge.

She is survived by: her sister Linda Tipton (Clarence). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and many close friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: American Cancer Association.

“Aunt Helen was a very special lady. As children, we did not live nearby, and so visits with her and Uncle Pat were always something I looked forward to. In later years, we enjoyed visiting her at her home with her lovely flower garden. In the words of of one of my cousins, Aunt Helen was a treasure. In the words of my mother, she was the best thing to ever happen to her brother, Pat. Her warmth, loving nature and twinkle in her eyes will be missed, and held in our hearts.”

“Aunt Helen will be deeply missed. She was an angel for many. My wife Cyndi and I have many fond memories of her. My mother Edna, Aunt Helen’s sister, would often speak of Aunt Helen. We lived in Houston but my mom would call Aunt Helen and they would visit in the phone frequently. Aunt Helen was a pillar of strength for her family. The angels in Heaven are rejoicing. She will be greatly missed by my wife and me and she looked forward to our visits. Steve and Cyndi Pierson”
