“When I came to Franklin Square Hospital in 1981 and was new to the area, Dr. Arfaa welcomed me with open arms. He and Maryam invited Shelley and me to their home for dinner. It was a wonderful evening, and they were gracious hosts. He made my transition to my job at hospital, as an ER doctor, much easier. He was a source of sound advice, and he generously provided critical back-up to the ER at all hours when his plastic surgery skills were needed. He truly was a gentleman and a scholar. - Dan Morhaim, M.D.”
