He is survived by: his wife Debra Dempsey; his son Mark Dempsey; his grandchildren, Orion, Isabella, Brian Dempsey (Pamala), Ethan, Grace and Charles; and his sisters, Clare Switzer (Thomas), Noreen Campbell (William) and Maria Jaimes (Steven).
