It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Potter of Bel Air, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on April 27, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother John. He is survived by: his spouse Merle Potter; his children, Joseph R. Potter, John D. Potter and Veronica J. Holden; his daughter-in-law Rose; his granddaughters, Amber and Rachel; his children, Dylan and Johli; his son-in-law Richard Holden; and his brother Donald (Patricia). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

“My heart goes out to Merle and all of Joe's family. Joe was the glue that held our Ocean City condo association together, serving as President and Treasurer (concurrently) for many years. He was who we turned to for guidance on nearly every issue and he was the one who arranged dinners after condo meetings.
