It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lawrence E. Burton of Bel Air, Maryland, who passed away on January 16, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Andrew Burton and Dorothy Willamina Burton (Kohler); and his siblings, Donald Burton and Catherine Martel. He is survived by: his wife Iris A. Burton (Friese); his children, Lawrence Burton (Pamela), Christine Langrehr and Jean Dlugokenski (Joseph); his grandchildren, Amber Mullen (Jason), Megan Langrehr, Katherine Langrehr, Michael Dlugokenski and Samantha Dlugokenski; and his great grandchildren, Kashton Mullen and Beckett Mullen.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Darlington Lions Club, P.O.Box 393, Darlington, MD 21034.
