Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Margaret May Brown Orf (Bel Air, Maryland), born in Sparta, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 89, on April 20, 2024. She was predeceased by : her parents, Soloman Fortner and Cynthia Fortner (Caudill); her former life partners, John Arlon Brown and Ray Orf Sr.; her son Glen Eugene Brown; her sister Ruby Dawson; and her granddaughter Amy Brown.

She is survived by : her children, Betty Brown, Carol Callaghan and William "Billy" Brown (Linda); her stepson Ray "Butch" Orf Jr.; and her sister Velma Bradley. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bel Air-McComas Family Funeral Home (50 W Broadway, Bel Air, MD 21014). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at the Harford Memorial Gardens (3839 Aldino Rd, Aberdeen, MD 21001).

Contributions may be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital or the American Cancer Society, two causes close to Margaret's heart.
