She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas William Bender and Anne Christine Bender (Plunkett); her husband Andrew Barilla; and her siblings, Joan, Thomas, Nancy, Olivia, Richard, Carole, Kathryn, Anne and James.
She is survived by: her children, Christine Nell (Edward), Patricia Kaplon (Bradley), Thomas Barilla, Kathryn Beller (Neil) and Joan Barilla (Edward Gille); and her grandchildren, Megan, Lindsey, Elizabeth (Jacob), Natalie, Andrew and Lukas. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Bel Air-McComas Family Funeral Home (50 W Broadway, Bel Air, MD 21014). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Margaret Catholic Church (141 S Hickory Ave, Bel Air, MD 21014). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at the Bel Air Memorial Gardens (809 Rock Spring Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014).
