He is survived by: his wife Carole Mae Appel (Donahue); his daughters, Denise Lynne Goheen and Elaine Gisriel (Curt); his grandchildren, Patrick Goheen (Amanda), Alannah Shahadi (John) and Michael Gisriel; his great grandchildren, Rory and Reese Goheen; and his sister-in-law Jane Fistek (Edward). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the McComas Family Funeral Homes (1317 Cokesbury Rd, Abingdon, MD 21009). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
