We bid farewell to Richard Craig Heier of Bel Air, Maryland, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 4, 2025 at the age of 71. Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Richard leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Karen Heier; his children, Christopher Heier (Bristol), Kelly Dasinger (Matthew) and Kendyll Heier; and his grandchildren, Halsey Heier and Blaine Heier.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. (610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Christ Our King Presbyterian Church (10 Lexington Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014).
