He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Teresa Carol Wienholt; his children, Robert Gerard Wienholt Jr. (Leah), Laura Teresa Brookshire (Brandon), Thomas Lawrence Wienholt (Erica), Joel Andrew Wienholt (Erica) and Kassandra Jean Carpenter (Christopher); and his grandchildren, Benjamin, Madison, Jeremy, Andrew, Austin, Nicholas, Eli, Andi, Naomi, Emery, Maeve and Sutton.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air (610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014). A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Darlington Cemetery. A burial was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation or Wounded Warrior Project.
