He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert McDonald and Margaret McDonald (Petersen). He is survived by: his wife Bonnie McDonald (Monaghan); his children, Kaitlyn Elizabeth Biolzi (Anthony Biolzi) and Phillip Michael McDonald; his granddaughter Giovanna Lily Biolzi (Gia); and his siblings, Cathy Haeffner, Robert McDonald, Glenn McDonald and Jerry McDonald.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Steve's memory may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
