He was predeceased by: his parents, Newton George Strong and Dorothy Eva Strong (Theodore); his wife Gertrude Theresa Strong (Stasiak); his siblings, Newton Strong and Esther Peeples; Joe.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marlene Strong and Theresa McLaughlin (Tim); his grandchildren, Jack McLaughlin (Angie), David McLaughlin, Linda Barry and Krystle Nagle (Jack); his great grandchildren, Jasmine, Zachary, Lily, James and Bennett; and his sister-in-law Ann Campbell. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Bel Air-McComas Family Funeral Home (50 W Broadway, Bel Air, MD 21014). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at the Holly Hill Memorial Gardens (10201 Bird River Rd, Baltimore, MD 21220).
