He is survived by : his wife Ruth Brooks (Smith); his brother Charles Brooks (Kim); his children, Deborah Brooks and James Brooks (Shelly); his grandchildren, Cheryl Younger (Daniel) and Rayneshia Williams (Robert); and his great grandchildren, Mya Brooks, Mason Younger and Kylie Younger. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
