It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine Arden (Beltsville, Maryland), who passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Lorraine departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lorraine may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lorraine leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Jacobson and Marion Jacobson; her husband Harvey; and her son Tom. She is survived by: her caregiver Elisa; and her children, Mark Arden (Katie) and Sylvia Josey (Paul). She is also survived by her seven grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Amani Center (4216 Howard Rd, Beltsville, MD 20705).
