It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte Elizabeth Harmon of Berlin, Maryland, who passed away on December 6, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Powell and Laura Jones Powell; her daughter Mary Davis; her husband Benjamin; her grandson Eddie; and her siblings, John Powell, Wallace Powell, Isaac Powell, Hayward Powell, Edward Jones, Martin Jones, William Powell, Laura Taylor, Mary Crawford and Roxie Cotton.
She is survived by: her daughter Joyce Smith Sr. (Charles); and her grandchildren, Francine Johnson (Willard) of Berlin, Charlene (Jonathan) of Berlin, Charles Jr. (Marchel) of Berlin, Geraldine (Saunder) of Berlin and William Harmon. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren, and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
