The passing of Emma Letcher Braniff of Berlin, Maryland leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 19, 2025 at the age of 100. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Harrison Letcher (Harry) and Katheryn Letcher (David); her husband LT. Col. James Philip Braniff USAF; and her daughter Sheila Braniff. She is survived by: her sons, Byron Braniff (Anne) of Berlin, MD and Cmdr. Gregory Braniff, USN Ret. (Lynda) of The Villages, FL; and her grandchildren, Kristen Mayle (Keith), Ashley Koca (Rob), Whitney Nye (Bob), Jamie Beecham (Michael), Justin Braniff (Erika), Connor Braniff (Danielle) and Dr. Jordan Braniff (Melissa). She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren and one sister.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bishop-Hastings Funeral Home (19 S Main St, Selbyville, DE 19975). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Umc Cemetery.
