It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail Martin Schafer of Berlin, Maryland, born in Warren, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Anna Mae Schafer (McGrath) and Alfred Adam Schafer; and his sister Mary Ann Font. He is survived by : his wife Constance Joan Schafer (Byrd); his daughter Stephanie Lynn McClaren (John); his grandchildren, Falynn Lois Jolie Jordan and Dylan Channing McClaren; and his nieces, Barbara Royce and Susan Roberts.
