It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Pretz Leyden of Berlin, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on October 21, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kathleen Pretz (McLaughlin) and Charles Edward Pretz; and her grandchild Lee Edward Leyden. She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Hodges (Leyden), S. Lee Leyden, Michael Pretz Leyden and Mary Anne Greczyn (Leyden); her children-in-law, Mary Leyden, Cathy Leyden and Warren Greczyn; her grandchildren, Kristin Hodges, Laurie Zimmerman (Hodges), Katie Hodges, Jill Leyden, Brian Leyden, David Leyden, Max Greczyn and Delaney Greczyn; and her great grandchildren, Brooke, Scott, Nora, George, Patrick, Crispin, Troy, Mary Blaise, Aubrey, Bella and Aspen. She is also survived by many friends of her own children – friends.
