He was predeceased by: his parents, John Albert Fassett and Mildred Brittingham Marshall; his daughters-in-law, Joanne Jarmon and Fayetta Jarmon; his grandson Cameron Jarmon; his great grandchild Noah Smith; and his close friend Nancy Jarmon.
He is survived by: his children, Barry Jarmon, Albert Jarmon (Josephine), Bruce Purnell, Jeffrie Jarmon (Karen), Ricky Jarmon (Shantell), Allovontine Jarmon (Iris), Derek Jarmon, Kevin Brittingham (Debra), Marcella Holland, Lori Gustus, Margaret Jarmon, Hattie Purnell Burson (Arthur), Shelia Tiller (Marchaund) and Lisa Jarmon-Couram (Lee); and his close friend Mary Jane Purnell. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; several cousins and friends.
