He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Elmer Thomas and Margaret Thelma Thomas; his son David Thomas; and his grandson Jamil Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Marion Thomas; his children, Daniel Thomas (Brenda), Buddy Thomas (Donna), Kimberly Disney (Greg) and Joseph Thomas; and his sister Linda Davis (Joseph). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
