She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward L. Sutton and Mary L. Derrickson Burton; and her husband Robert Edward Davis. She is survived by: her children, Toshia Whaley, Tyrone Norman Whaley (Selena Jones Whaley) and Tamatha Nichols (Eugene Nichols); and her siblings, Stansbury Shockley and Terri Derrickson. She is also survived by one grandchild; several cousins, other relatives, and friends.
