He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Thomas and Achsah Jones (Cathell); and his siblings, Edwin Jones, Paul Jones, George Jones, Franklyn, Anna Cortese and Margaret Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy W. Jones; his son Richard G. "Rick" Jones of Berlin, MD; his sisters, Kathleen Pruitt of Berlin, MD, Marlyn Shockley of Whaleyville, MD and Achsah Jarman of Berlin, MD; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Jones and Chris McDonald (Travis); and his great grandchildren, Alyvia McDonald, Collin McDonald and Grayson McDonald. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
