He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert E. Heimert, Jr. and Dorothea Blondell Heimert; his significant other Inez McClung; his brothers, Albert E. Heimert, III and Richard F. Heimert; his nephew Jonathan C. Heimert; and his niece Kimberly Ann Heimert.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Chris, Jon, Jenny, Christopher S. Heimert (Chrystal), Lee H. Heimert (Azucena) and Jennifer E. Heimert; and his cousin Antoinette "Toni" Blondell Gibson.
