It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rose Mary McAleer (Berlin, Maryland), born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on April 8, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Lamar and Kathrine Rose Boteler; her husband John H. McAleer (Jack); her daughter Bernadette Marie McAleer; her brother Bernard Boteler; and her stepmother Alma Boteler.
She is survived by: her children, John Kevin, Thomas Michael (Kathy), Patrick Bernard (Sally), Janet Marie Bradford (Alan), Andrew Joseph (Barbara), James Arthur, Robert Francis (Kathy), Michael Anthony, Stephen Jerome (Beverly) and Kathleen Marie Lorance (Keith); and her siblings, John Stanton Boteler, Robert Eugene Boteler (Mary) and Mary Elizabeth DeMattia (Anthony). She is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
