She is survived by: her children, Nelda Purnell, Standra Purnell, Mashelle Purnell, LaFern Kitt and Darnell Dennis; her siblings, Carolyn Fassett, Barbara Ellis, Della Miller, Norma Williams, Ozelle Williams (James), Yvonne Williams (Lewis), Maxine Wright (Curtis) and Rayfield Purnell; her aunt Mary Frances Purnell; and her uncle Elder Gary Purnell (Gloria). She is also survived by three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
