She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Parker, Sr. and Lucille Steele. She is survived by: her husband Jerome Wharton, Jr.; her children, James Fooks and Mitra Fooks; her siblings, Ralph Parker, Jr., Beatrice Bowen, Althea Foreman (Mitchell), Crystal Mumford (George) and Geneva Abbott-Banks (Bill); and her cousin Deloras Steele (Eugene Rincon). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other cousins, and friends.
