She was predeceased by: her mother Dixie Lee Boney Soo. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy; her children, Emmalee, Zoe, Cecelia and Jesse; her father L. Y.; and her brothers, Ken (Kitty), Michael (Audrey) and Jeff (Eileen).

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fourth Presbyterian Church (5500 River Rd, Bethesda, MD 20816).

Donations in Cathy's memory may be directed to the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center (https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org) to fund pancreatic cancer research.
