Doris Elaine Slavin Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Elaine Slavin of Bethesda, Maryland, who passed away on September 13, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Sandy Slavin; her parents, David Purlson and Augusta Cohen Purlson; and her brother Elliot Purlson of Verona, NJ.. She is survived by: her children, Mayor Jeffrey Zane Slavin (R. Bryan Harrison) of Somerset, MD and Roni Slavin Pekins (Peter Pekins) of Durham, NH.; her grandchildren, Ryan Marshall Pekins (Jessie Sherman-Pekins) of Billings, MT and Anna Justine Pekins (Bryce Christopherson); and her great grandchild Kendall Kenzo Christopherson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
