He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, Bryan Watson (Shay Driscoll), Molly (Patrick Hermes), Kevin Watson (Chris Eames) and Jon (Michelle Watson); his stepchildren, John Averitt, Anne Dodgen-Averitt, Elizabeth Averitt (James Peterson), Amelia Averitt and Evan Giordanella; his grandchildren, Clarke, James Hermes, Kinsey and Hazel Watson; his stepgrandchildren, Maren Averitt, Roman Giordanella and Charlotte Peterson; his sister Sue; his brother-in-law Gary Wood; his sibling's children, Michael and Sarah Wood; and his brother-in-law Robert Salemi.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Joe's memory to the Wounded Warrior Project.
