It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence G. Hefter of Bethesda, Maryland, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Susan Hefter; his children, Jonathan Hefter (Lisa) and Rachel Goldstein (Josh); and his siblings, Babette Becker, Zayde of Talia, Pazia, Meira and Hannah.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Judean Memorial Gardens (16225 Batchellors Forest Rd, Olney, MD 20832). A burial was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at the same location.
