It is with sadness that the passing of Leela Edirisinghe (Bethesda, Maryland) is shared. Leela, born on April 4, 1946, passed away on July 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brothers, Ranjith and Anura; and her parents, Tillakaratne Banda Balalle and Tikiri Menike Balalle. She is survived by: her husband Neville; her daughters, Thishanthi and Kalani (Manuel); her grandson Joshua; and her siblings, Mangalika (Sadhi), Parakrama (Malinithi) and Tissa (Manel). She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
