Mary Dickson Shryock Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mary Dickson Shryock (Bethesda, Maryland), who passed away at the age of 95, on December 26, 2020. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Richard Fuller Shryock; her children, Richard Shryock (Paola Ciardi) and Mary Dickson Meraw (Paul); her grandchildren, Mary Dickson Bowden (Samuel), Colt Meraw (Shannon David), Troy Meraw (Samantha Aviles) and Heather Madden (Zachery); and her friend Salamatu Tonkara.

Due to Covid restrictions a memorial service will be held over the summer and a private graveside service for family only on January 9th.

Donations can be made in her name to the Smithsonian Institution at support.si.edu.
