We announce the death of Maureen S. McKenzie of Bethesda, Maryland, who passed away on June 5, 2026, at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Augustus Sauer and Margaret Sauer (Kelleher); her husband James McKenzie; and her siblings, Robert Sauer and Margaret "Peggy" Sauer.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy McKenzie Warren (Duffy), Patrick McKenzie (Carolina) and Kelly McKenzie Geraci (Brian); her grandchildren, Gerald Twigg, Jr. (Samantha), Maddie Garner (Matt), Brooke Nalls (John), Gary Mulkins (Katie), Kevin McKenzie (Sophie), Kyle McKenzie, Colin McKenzie, Ally McKenzie and Grace Mulkins (Max); her great grandchildren, Trevor, Gwyneth, Merrick, Tiernan, Bethany, Ryan and Reagan; her brother Don Sauer; and her sisters-in-law, Kelly Sauer and Patty Sauer. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
