It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mirta Noemi Abud in Bethesda, Maryland, who passed away on April 24, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Mirta Noemi had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Mirta Noemi may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jorge Abud and Maria Asunción Valencia. She is survived by: her husband Laurence; her children, Natalia Homestead (Keir Homestead), Christian Zimmerman (Yisleni Zurita Navarro) and Martin Zimmerman (Kelly Howe); her brother Jorge Abud (Barbara Bartoo); and her cousin Juan Carlos Juhasz (Beatriz Montana). She is also survived by other loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
