Richard Willard Jeffcoat Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Willard Jeffcoat of Bethesda, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 21, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Colie Willard Richbourg and Ouida Belle Jeffcoat Johnson; his stepfather Raymond Lee Johnson; his siblings, Gail Patrick "Patsy" Jeffcoat Hydrick, Faith Baldwin Richbourg Miles and Thomas Oscar; and also, Hurley Lee and Beveridge Althea Wood.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his daughters, Susan Tolley (Michael) of Bainbridge Island, WA, Meredith Mirkow (Alejandro) of Bethesda, MD and Colie Davis of Chesterfield, SC; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Meggett Tolley-Stein (Jon) of Kent, WA, Sophia Jade Davis of Chesterfield, SC, Nicholas Michael Tolley (Catherine 'Cat' Huang) of Providence, RI, Gabriel Alejandro Mirkow of Bethesda, MD and Llewyn Gene Davis of Chesterfield, SC.; and his siblings, Joyce Marie Langley, Wanda Schumpert (Sam), Susie Mack Smith (Wayne), Everett Bud Jeffcoat, John Edward Richbourg (Becky) and Wayne Richbourg (Donna Sue). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
