With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard William Story of Betterton, Maryland, who passed away on May 23, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Virginia; his children, Karen Cherry (Stephen) and Jeff Story (Lauren); his grandchildren, Ryann, Nathan, Ella, Theo, Rue and Joshua; his brothers, Jack (Linda) and Martin (Dee); and his sisters-in-law, Candi Sorge (John), Liz Clark and Mary Alice Munson (Don).

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Presbyterian Church of Chestertown (905 Gateway Dr, Chestertown, MD 21620).

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dick's memory to a charity of your choice.
