With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harvey Finney Jr. of Bishopville, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Finney, Sr. and Madeline Banks Finney; and his brother Cornel Finney. He is survived by: his wife Mary Church Finney; his children, Tanesia Finney and Harvey Finney III (Malinda); his stepchildren, Betty Dennis, James Mumford (Toni), Bonny Pinson (Kenny), Anthony Mumford (Carla), Lester Brown and Alfonzo Church (Shymica); his brother Glenn Finney (Olive); his stepsiblings, Emmanuel Fletcher and Levolia M. Rowley; and his sisters-in-law, Laurel Purnell (Benjamin), Bertha Payton (Charles) and Joyce Tingle (Leon). He is also survived by four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several other relatives and friends.
