He was predeceased by: his parents, Ward Collins and Beatrice Collins (Lynch); and his siblings, Lemuel Collins, Ward Collins Jr., Ira Collins, Charlie Collins, Randolph Collins, Frank Collins, Elbert Collins, Lloyd Collins, Ethel Brasure, Betty Carey and Achsah Brasure.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Gray Collins; his daughter Sherry L. Paulette (Thomas); his sisters, Ada Whiteman, Beatrice Magee and Faye Murray; Carol Taylor and Brad Taylor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
