Diane Irene Huffer Smith Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane Irene Huffer Smith (Boonsboro, Maryland), who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Alfred Huffer and Gladys Irene Mullendore Huffer; her husband Paul Hessong Smith, Jr.; her brother Alfred Mullendore Huffer (Fred); and her niece Lori Gudgeon.
She is survived by: her brother Delbert Huffer (Delores); her children, Bret Smith (Wendy), Mark Smith (Lori) and Gina Smith Moss (Randy); her grandchildren, Bradley Smith, Ashley Spencer (Stephen), Amanda Socks (Nathan) and Joshua Smith; her great grandchildren, Arolyn Socks, Mila Socks, Dominic Smith, Eleanor Spencer, Xander Smith and Braxton Smith; and her nieces, Karen Smith, Teresa Shifler and Kimberly Huffer. She is also survived by seven great nieces and nephews, and ten great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home-Boonsboro (7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, MD 21713). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Boonsboro Cemetery (64 S Main St, Boonsboro, MD 21713).
