He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Burker Sr. and Pauline Burker (Harrison); his son Jamie Alan Burker; and his brother Marvin Burker, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Burker; his children, Jerry Leroy Burker, Jr. (Lee) and Bonnie L. Singer; his grandchildren, Colby Burker, Tiffany Burker, Chae Burker, Emmalee Burker, Tomaya Singer, Vijay Singer, Dru Singer, Karsyn Burker and Jamie Burker, Jr. (JJ); and his siblings, Ricky, Garry, Earl Burker (Butch) and Sandy Rhodes. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Boonsboro Family Worship Center (7605 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, MD 21713). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Boonsboro Family Worship Center.
