He was predeceased by: his parents, John Samuel Redman, Sr. and Earlene Elizabeth Mae Redman (Karn); his sister Tina Goetz; and his grandson Andrew Burdette. He is survived by: his girlfriend Sandra Burdette (Sandy); his son Jason Redman; his grandchildren, Dylan, Sarah and Levi; his great grandchild Sandra Hoffman (Bradly); his stepson Joseph Burdette, Jr. (Tracey); his children, Tara and Nikolas; his stepdaughter Emily Griffith (Robert); his children, Madison and Mackenzie; his siblings, Robyn Tobery (Chuck), Tracey Redman (Ray) and Dwayne Redman; and also, Cole and Wyatt. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren, and many special nieces and nephews.
