She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Clyde and Mildred Louise Umphlet (Pennington); her husband William Joseph Savannah, Sr.; her children, James Savannah, William Savannah, Jr. and Kathleen Benedick; her grandson William Savannah, III; and her siblings, Dorothy Welborn and Eugene Umphlet.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Newlen (Russell) of Jessup, MD, Teresa Ohan (Timothy) of Wheaton, MD, Julia Lovins of Boonsboro, MD and Robert Savannah (Mary) of Frederick, MD; and her sisters-in-law, Christine and Colleen Savannah. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
