He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sullivan and Miriam Robinson Sullivan Messner. He is survived by: his wife Rosario "Rosarito" Sullivan; his sons, Mark F. Sullivan, Jr. (Elixabeth) and Sean F. Sullivan (Margaret); and his grandchildren, Catherine, James, Thomas, Nora, Oliver and Owen.
Viewing will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Minnich Funeral Home (415 E Wilson Blvd, Hagerstown, MD 21740). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (224 W Washington St, Hagerstown, MD 21740). A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:15 AM at the Ivy Hill Cemetery (2823 King St, Alexandria, VA 22302).
