He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Sanford and Ellen Mae Gossard (Moats). He is survived by: his siblings, Diana L. Cook of Hagerstown, Laura S. Gossard (Ted Dundus, Jr.) of Sharpsburg and Fred G. Gossard (Ramona) of Sharpsburg; his nephew Zachary Cook of Hagerstown; his uncle Ralph Gossard of Hagerstown; and his friends, Terry, Lisa Judd and Brian Myer.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home (7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, MD 21713). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
