He is survived by : his wife Susie Itnyre Ruffner; his children, Kendra Showe of Williamsport, MD and Dr. Justin Ruffner (Delia) of Orleans, MA.; his grandchildren, McKenzie (Showe), McCoy, Austin, Emersyn, Mallory Showe (Clay Dunahugh), Cooper, Sawyer and Nora Ruffner; his sisters, Margaret Hargett (Raymond) of Frederick, MD and Mary Frances Ellis Bowman (Don) of Williamsport, MD; his friend Denny Reeder (Nancy) of Boonsboro; and his close friends, Josh Hoy, Jessie Brashears of Boonsboro and Keedysville, MD. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, May 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 10702 Hopewell Rd, Williamsport, MD 21795.
