With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Scott William Hughes of Boonsboro, Maryland, born in Walpole, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 20, 2025 at the age of 54. He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Ellen Vargas (Frazier). He is survived by: his father William R. Hughes; his stepfather Luis Vargas; his sisters, Kelley Hughes Grasso, Renee Vargas and Jessica Hughes Calderara; his stepbrother Christopher Cononi; his nieces and nephews, Taylor Moscatelli, Gianna Moscatelli, Josephine Calderara, Kyle Grasso, Jackson Calderara and Jonathan Calderara; his great-nephew Carson Moscatelli; and his great-niece KInley Snyder.
