“I was a student at Howard Univ. - that went on to earn my doctorate in Clinical Psych. w/ Dr. A. Wade Boykin's support, as well as support from Dr. Albert Roberts and Dr. Leslie Hicks of Howard Univ.'s Psych. Dept. My first Psych. class was Dr. Boykin's "Psychology of the Black Experience." I was a Zoology major at the time. The power of Dr. Boykin's pedagogy & my enthusiasm for the material encouraged me to change my major to Psychology. Warmly, Dr. Victoria (Martin) Moran.”
