He was predeceased by: his father Arkelga L. Braxton, Sr.; and his grandparents, Edgar, Hattie Davis, Clemmie and Daisy Braxton.

He is survived by: his mother Ruth Davis Braxton; his wife Michelle McAdams; his son Osman; his father-in-law Melvin McAdams; his sisters, Mynichia Braxton and Bianca Smith (Timothy); his nieces and nephews, Tyvonnia, Timara, Timothy and Timeric; his godchildren, Jordan Jackson and Kennedy Brooks; his sisters, Lynda Brown and Vicki Lee; his friends, Darnell Jackson (Tonya), Byron Chester and Brent Thompson; his brother Marlon Jeffrey Davis (Pam); and his children, Bessie and Fatima.

The funeral service is private due to COVID-19 restrictions.
